Situated on Ireland's west coast, Limerick is a friendly place to study. Although it is Ireland's 3rd largest city, it has only 85,000 inhabitants. Our students tell us it is large enough to offer them everything they think is important in a big city and small enough to make them feel comfortable and at home, even on their first day.

Teachers use core textbooks which are supplemented by a wide variety of authentic materials in the early morning session and in the later session communication skills are developed through speaking, listening and pronunciation practice.

This programme allows the student to follow the general syllabus with a group in the morning and to tailor the individual sessions to their own particular interests and language learning needs.
Intensive English	30 lessons	€225
Registration Fee: None Lesson Duration: 45 minutes Course Days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri Course Times: 9:00 - 16:00 Minimum Age: 17 Average Class Size: 8 students Max Class Size: 8 students Course Materials: Included Course Books: Not Included Course Certificate: Course Focus: All four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) The Intensive Course offers levels from Beginner to Advanced with 22.5 hours of lessons per week (1350 minutes). Each morning, you will complete 3 hours of the Standard General English Programme while in the afternoons on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday there will be an extra 2.5 hours (150 minutes) of small group tuition. The afternoon segment of the programme is designed for those who wish to make rapid progress in English in a short period of time.

Placement Fee: None Based just across the river from the city centre (about a 10 min walk). You will have a private room with a private shower, sink and toilet in a comfortable, modern apartment. Some apartments have 3 bedrooms, others 4 and 5 bedrooms. All apartments have a cosy living room and up to date kitchen. Apartments are shared, typically, with other foreign students (from our centre or foreign students attending the various colleges and universities in Limerick) or with Irish students.

Placement Fee: None We feel all students should spend at least a few weeks with an Irish family upon arrival... it is probably the nicest introduction to a new country. All students have a private room in a lovely home with a warm, caring Irish family. Wherever possible we match students to families based on mutual interests. Our families are known to us personally and most have worked with us for many years. All are inspected annually. We are proud of the welcome our families accord our students. Our families live in a suburb of Limerick, just a 10-minute bus ride or 20-minute walk from the centre
